Now Available with our best Lap Adjuster ever made! The SL88 is SCHROTH's newest technological advance. It incorporates the inline lap adjuster into the buckle that clicks into the Camlock. This is much better from an ergonomic standpoint as you don't have any webbing or stitching between the buckle and the adjuster allowing you to use pull down belts in very small spaces. No more will you be frustrated by not being able to tighten your belts because the adjuster hits the seat - now it'll be right at the cam lock all the time!

Not only that, these adjusters are some of the smoothest adjusting pieces we've ever seen yet they pass all applicable tests for microslip under load!

In 2007, Schroth introduced the Nextel Cup to the 2" lap belt that has been available to FIA sanctioned racers for years. In doing so, they've stepped up the level of safety available to racers running under all SFI 16.5 harness rules. 2" Lap Belts are now legal in all touring NASCAR series.

The 2" lap belt offers greater safety because it fits better on the human pelvis. The part of the pelvis where the lap belt contacts the body is called the Iliac Crest. This is the bone that sticks out at the front of your hip. When seated, a 3" lap belt will ride on top of this crest. A 2" belt sits below this crest, and exerts all of its force on the hard part of your pelvis, rather than focusing it on a small surface area of bone. Because of this fact, you can generally get the 2" lap belt up to 1.5" tighter than a 3" lap belt.

Add this 2" lap belt to the already impressive features that distinguish the Schroth harness from the rest of the competition and you end up with an easy choice for your harness.

The Profi Style harnesses feature the T-bar sub strap style. You can specify the standard HANS specific 2"/3" shoulder belts or the state-of-the-art "Double Shoulder" belts that feature the 3" body belt and additional 2" HANS belt.

The Hybrid Style harnesses is defined by its special Anti-sub strap setup with two separate straps that loop around the lap belt latches before clicking into the cam lock (See Pictures). This arrangement is much more comfortable for the driver, and is also safer. Generally in tight cockpits, drivers will wear the restraint looser than is recommended purely because a regular Anti-sub strap is uncomfortable. The Hybrid restraint removes the problem, curing the symptom.

You can specify the standard HANS specific 2"/3" shoulder belts or the state-of-the-art "Double Shoulder" belts that feature the 3" body belt and additional 2" HANS belt.

The Formula Style harnesses are defined by the method that the sub straps fasten to the rest of the harness. In a Formula belt, these straps feed through D-rings that are sewn into the lap belts, and then wrap around special hardware on the Shoulder belts. This is generally the type of harness you want to use if you are mounting your sub straps to the same locations as the lap belts, or if you are sitting on the sub straps. Most of the time, these belts are only used in single seat open wheeled cars, but many NASCAR drivers still request this setup.

The Benchmark Harness by which all others are judged. The Profi III is available in different configurations to suit each driver's setup and preference. It features a T-bar sub strap setup where the two sub straps are attached to one bracket that connects to the cam-lock. This setup makes it easy to get into the belt once you cram yourself into the car.

SFI 16.5 Hybrid III

The pinnacle of Harness technology available today. Features the Hybrid Style sub straps giving a direct transfer of force from the sup straps to cam lock. This keeps the lap belt low in an impact which keeps you where you need to be - in the seat.

Available with no in-line lap adjuster in the 40094 model, which features standard 3" shoulderbelts for those drivers not using a HANS device. The 40095 model adds the HANS Specific 2" shoulder belts to the mix, giving optimized performance with the HANS device.

For the ultimate in harness technology, you'll be interested in the Double Shoulder Belt models. Choose between 40094Y with no inline lap adjuster and 41094Y with a Pull-up adjuster on the inboard lap belt.

The double shoulder belt gives the driver the security of a 3" shoulder belt against their chest, but gives the optimized performance of the 2" HANS belts on top of the 3" belts. The HANS device fits between the two and the result is amazing. Testing and real world experience show that this setup yields supreme comfort and unparalleled safety.

Formula style belts have long been used in situations where there is not a lot of space. The sub straps on this style harness feed through D-rings sewn to the lap belts and then wrap around the latch hardware for the shoulder belts. This abscence of a T-bar allows the driver to comfortably squeeze into tighter spaces.

Comes with HANS specific shoulder belts giving you optimized performance when using the HANS Device.
